This TV is incredible. I have it in my master bedroom and it is perfect in everyway. Mitsubishi does not release their specs on contrast ratio, but it is Identical to my 55" LED Samsung. It's like looking trough a window. All the DVD's on my LG DVD Player look like Blue-rays. Enough about the picture, It is the sound where it really shines. It has a built in sound calibration system that automatically adjust tthe sound to where you want it. It is a sound projector, not a sound bar, and that makes a world of diffrence. Watching sports is like being in the arena/stadium. Movies are just like in the theater. It has a subwoofer input so I have it set up with a small Sony amplified Subwoofer and that is more than enough. If you are thinking about getting it, don't think twice. If you are like me who was doing research and kept seeing the same reveiw about Mitsubishi having trouble with not being able to adjust the colors, It's not true. the colors can be adjusted just fine and the Picture is simply amazing. I purchased a 52" Mitsubishi LT52153 from the Big Screen Store in Rockville, MD for an incredible $[...] Christmas special that included: a three-year warranty, free shipping, subwoofer and white glove installation (an incredible deal). The installers were extremely knowledgeable and connected my HD Comcast cable box, blu-ray and Wii, and programmed the remote controls within minutes.
Initially, I planned to purchase the new Samsung LED tv. The Big Screen Store carries this set as well as displayed it next to the Mitsubishi. Although the Samsung LED has an equally amazing picture, it lacked color and the sound absolutely sucked. Not to mention, it cost about $[...] more.
The Mitsubishi picture is richer and deeper, and the built-in true 16 SPEAKER SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM is absolute heaven to my ears. There are no unsightly wires all over the place, and the included subwoofer envelopes you in rich, ground-shaking sound. The high definition channels through Comcast Cable is stunning and blu-ray movies will blow you away. And with 120hz, there is no blurring motion so sports scenes and action movies are flawless. Also, there is a great review of the 46" version of this tv at [...].pdf (copy and paste the link into your address bar). Basically, all of the features would be the same except tv screen size.
Why am I writing a review about the 52" Mitsubishi here? Well, I was so impressed with my 52" Mitsubishi LT52153 that I purchased TWO 40" Mitsubishi LT40153 tvs for my bedrooms. The Big Screen Store in Rockville, MD ran a Christmas special for $[...] that included a free three-year warranty and subwoofer (delivery and white glove installation is $[...] additional).
If you're still hesistant to buy this tv...don't be. Once you turn on the power, you'll never want to leave the couch, not to mention the house!
Note: Be sure not to purchase the 151 series for this tv...it is not nearly as good.

We didnt buy this HDTV from Amazon we got it from The Big Screen store we couldnt pass up the deal on this tv.We got it for $1285 incl.tax also came with a free subwoofer and a 2yr extended warr.
